Training facilities at Kingston Common Farm
Kingston Common Farm is a setting which provides the racehorse with the feeling of being in its natural environment. It has a calm and relaxed atmosphere set in 92 acres of grass land which is self contained, with its own six furlong all weather Safetrack gallop. [completed June 2010]
The new Safetrack gallop is an excellent, forgiving surface which is also used by racecourses. Our facilities also include
- a 20 meter diameter enclosed all weather lunge ring,
- a large all weather ménage,
- and a horsewalker.
The racehorses enjoy high quality seed hay which we grow here on the farm. We have a selection of turn out which ranges from small to large paddocks and meadows. After their exercise, the racehorses benefit from turn out in these paddocks which we feel is important to their mental and physical well-being.
