A blustery end to the year....

We were joined on a rather blustery (but dry) Saturday morning by Sam Thomason and Andrew Knott to see their horses on the gallops. Sam is a new owner here at Kingston Common Farm, with shares in a nice Sir Percy yearling Colt to be named Rakes Progress, purchased at the Tattersalls yearling sales, and Emerald Patrina a recent Byron Irish import, who we hope to see on the racecourse early in the new year. Andrew has been an owner with us for a few years, and has enjoyed success with Childesplay a lovely horse we bred here on the farm, having won 3 races this year, her last being an impressive win at Ascot in May. We have high hopes that she can improve further in 2016, and we will be looking to target her at some of the big handicaps over the summer. An Equiano Ex Jane Jubilee filly is Andrews other horse which is owned in partnership with Rubert Lycett Green and a friend. The yearlings are all going well, and with a short break over Christmas, to relax and continue to grow, they will then be joined by the older horses back in training. We are really excited about their prospects during 2016. If you are interested in joining a small, friendly team where we believe a happy horse is a winning horse , then Kingston Common Farm is the ideal yard. Whether you are a new or established owner, if it's a share or a whole horse, you are interested in, we would be delighted to speak to you. Heather
